What abount moving the project over to sourceforge or something? Then, I 
guess, multiple people could work on parts of it at the same time. Looks 
as if mainling list(s) and a subversion repository would be inclusive 
and thus "off your back"; I don't know if there's also a wiki (out of 
the box) though.
