Hi Maarten,

At the time that the Exim4U project was started, Vexim development had
gone in another direction with the Vexim3 (Django) project and
development of the Vexim2 php product had basically ended. In other
words, the Vexim developers had stated that a total rewrite in Django
was the future of Vexim and I didn't see any reason to pursue them on
the php product for that reason.

Also, prior to introducing Exim4U in November, I contacted Avleen Vig
(original Vexim developer) and sought his concurrence regarding Exim4U
being offered as a derivative product of Vexim. Avleen responded very
positively and so we proceeded forward.

There is only one developer (myself) currently working on Exim4U.
Exim4U was first put into service in January, 2009 on four servers
operated by MailHub4U.com and has been running full time ever since.

FYI,
