Hi all, I have lurked the list for a while, and have recognised some "life" came back into the list lastely. I m in the process of setting up a new mail-server on a fresh debian- lenny. I did in the last using vexim, but that s a while back. The question is, should I do it like the last time, following various tutorials to bring everything in place. Or should I use Exim4U? Or is a re-birthing of the original vexim to be expected any time soon, some mentioned it. Is anybody in a similar decision process? Exim4U requires Exim 4.71 (I do not know how strict this is, but I will not do any re-compiling on my server, it s a production system, and needs to be very reliable, so I will stick with Lenny s Exim 4.69 as of now). Of course, I would prefer the easiest way to set up the server and it has to be done within the next days, if possible. Is Exim4U mature, very likely not that much as it is a new(?) project. Vexim3 I think is not on the horizon, a port to python (which I would have liked:-) is rejected. Any comments very much appreciated, brgds, Karl
