The advanced features in Exim4U that require extra configuration are not mandatory and are parameter driven. For example, you can enable/disable DKIM and the Multiple IP feature in the local settings configuration file, exim4u_local.conf.inc. The advanced SpamAssassin configurations are optional. In fact, you can disable SpamAssassin and ClamAV altogether if you prefer. The spamboxes and spambox reports are enabled/disabled within the Exim4U web interface. Most all of the other advanced features, such as greylisting and ratelimiting do not require any extra configuration. In a nut shell, I don't think that Exim4U is any more difficult to configure than most other Linux server applications including Vexim. FYI, Gordon I have to say I installed it in a freebsd jail last night and it went in pretty easy. At the end of the day I just used the exim directory and the php front end from the tar file. Linked /etc/exim to /usr/local/etc/exim to avoid touching any preconfigured paths amd linked exim.conf to configure and that was it. Followed the install docs here http://exim4u.org/svn/exim4u_src/tags/1.2.1/INSTALL and just adapted for freebsd. It pretty much worked out of the box including the greylisting. I feel very loyal to vexim though and appreciate all Avleen's work and others that have gone into it. But in the event of there not being another vexim release I would have to consider swapping so in the mean time I will be getting to find my way around exim4u Terry
