Vexim is the work product of volunteers who developed the software =

without any direct compensation as a generous contribution to the open =

source community. The Vexim developers contributed their time and sweat =

equity to make the product what it is today. These developers were =

primarily FreeBSD users and so, not surprisingly, the product was geared =

primarily for that OS instead of Debian. However, as we all know, Vexim =

is easily installed on other OS's such as Debian, RedHat/CentOS, etc but =

it does require just a little bit more effort. The same thing can be =

said of Exim4U except that the developer primarily uses CentOS so the =

Exim4U distribution is primarily geared for that OS instead of Debian. =

However, just like Vexim, Exim4U is easily installed on other OS's such =

as Debian and FreeBSD as well.

Instead of complaining about the free work product that has been =

provided by volunteer developers I would urge you to contribute your own =

time and sweat equity to introduce a version of Vexim or Exim4U that is =

geared primarily for Debian. If you don't like the free open source =

software that is available then please develop your own version for =

Debian or whatever and then make it available to the open source =

community as has been done with Vexim and Exim4U.
