Sequences Window warp and narrow

I'm having a minor problem with the "Warp & Narrow" function 
which I have set to be used when I click button 2.

If I am in some folder and I click button 2 on a Sequences 
Window entry for some sequence in some OTHER folder then the 
selected folder is made current but the ftoc is not "narrowed" 
to the selected sequence.  Instead I get an error "Select more 
than one message first".  A second click of the button is 
necessary to actually complete the function of narrowing.
