I, too, can confirm this behaviour. It hasn't been a real problem to me,
as a redisplay does the trick each time. 

One thing I'd still like to see in this area (I'm cc'ing -workers for this
reason - sorry if I'm bringing this up too often...), however, is a patch
to iterate over more than just the first blank line looking for the
beginning of a PGP message - some mailers insist on adding an extra line
before the PGP comment line. I've tried looking in the code for an easy
way to do this but I always manage to get lost between libraries and
functions trying to trace it :)
