Re: exmh-2.7.0 working OK for you?

Installed it yesterday and so far it's working fine - but:

some random things that I now noticed and are probably
unrelated to the emxh version.

I do no know if it is my window manager, or exmh, but:
when an exmh-related window is already open, but hidden behind
another window, nothing seems to happen when I click the button
to open it. It would be nice if then the window would be raised
(examples: search, preferences).
(if this is supposed to work, please tell me so I can fix the
 window manager :-/ :-)

there is something funny with the sequences, just as funny as
with the 2.6.3 I was using so far.
The funny thing is that I had a long list of sequences I did not
want to see, and it seeems that somehow this got messed up, such
that sequences for which I had indicated that I did not want to
see them started showing up in the sequences window.
Either I have been mis-editing the preferences, or something else
is wrong.

That is what triggered me to the diff posted on exmh-users yesterday
(Subject: sequences window patch)
It is a quick hack with some rough edges - but something like that
does make life much easier for me.
I just looked at past messages on the list and found other/related
thoughts.
For me it would make sense to have preferences:
 Never Show Sequences:
Sometimes Show Sequences: /*confusing name, I mean: when nonempty*/
 Always Show Sequences:

where glob (or regexp?) patterns can be used, and Sometimes+Always
is stronger than Never, or the other way around (also an option?)
such that you can use the glob patterns to set a default,
that is overridden for specific instances.
My patch is close to that, but not quite there.

On a slightly related note: already for years I have a patch
for the Pick Messages Window, that adds a 'Select seq(s)'
menu button, to show a list of toggle buttons for all
sequences in the current folder, to add/remove them from
the 'Pick from Seq/msg(s)' entry field.
I think that was inspired by xmh which, in my memory,
had sequences support that was better than in
(earlier versions of?) exmh - reading back the sequences
related messages here I see that I was not aware of quite
some functionality that is now present in the sequences window.

amen to that.
occasionally I have been tempted/triggered to fix/hack/change
something (and that usually proved relatively easy), but apart
from those seldom cases I have been a happy user for many years!!
