While looking at the various "fetchmail/procmail and drop it into MH folders" suggestions, I was fortunate enough to stumble across "exmh-fetchmail", which allows one to replace the "inc" function with a fetchmail->procmail->inbox solution. Since I don't recall finding mention of this in the exmh archives, I thought I'd mention it now. Here's where I found it: http://cvs.dcs.ed.ac.uk/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/exmh-fetchmail/ http://www.dice.inf.ed.ac.uk/doc/howto/using_exmh_with_exmh.html Since I don't like anything to happen to my MH folders unless I invoke it manually, this works great for me. The only thing I miss is the periodic exmh "msgchk" functionality to tell me when I have email waiting to be incorporated. If I were more of a tcl programmer I could add this to exmh-fetchmail without much trouble. Maybe some one of you could help me with this, and/or it or a similar approach could become part of exmh in the future.... Regards, -- Marion Hakanson
