I'm sure it's not a window manager issue - it transcends every manager I've used, from twm through fvwm to kde and blackbox. > > I found the previous thread, from Aug 2000, have appended it here: Thanks, this was highly entertaining. I'm heartened by Brent's comment: "We should probably just let people choose their model and only implement one at a time, eh?" Fine words. I wish I could help with that, but If there's a bright centre in the programmer universe I'm about the farthest thing from it (apologies to George Lucas). It's not all bad, however - that nasty bug that stopped pasting into tcl dialogs a while back (2.2 era?) and which I made a really hacky patch for has been fixed for some time now. IIRC, it was a tcl user path override issue. joel -- Joel Hatton -- Security Analyst | Hotline: +61 7 3365 4417 AusCERT - Australia's national CERT | Fax: +61 7 3365 7031 The University of Queensland | WWW: www.auscert.org.au Qld 4072 Australia | Email: [email protected]
