mozilla -remote won't work with some urls

Hello,

I am running exmh on Solaris 9 and find that some urls will not
launch new or connect to an existing mozilla. The problem always
occurs when the uri string has one or more ampersands "&" 
imbedded. The exec command seems to choke when it hits one.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?
