v2.7.2 lockups, mime parsing taking really long

I'm running what I think's the latest version, under fedora core 3.  Having to kill exmh a lot the last few weeks it seems like, as it'll just lock up when trying to view certain mail messages.

Also, when it's trying to read through a mail with 1+ attachments, it's taking a really long time to come back to me.

How can I debug what's going wrong, where it's locking up or what's wrong?
