I recently had to reinstall OS X as a result of a booting problem. The
reinstallation does not allow for an easy cloning of the /usr directory
where exmh is located. Neither the cloning or subsequent attempts to reinstall
exmh has worked. The following is the error message I am receiving:

in the x terminal at the command prompt

hardy> exmh
User_Init: wrong # args: should be "User_Init"
exmh: tkerror: error reading "file10": illegal ...

which then automatically generates a message to Brent Welch with
the following information

error reading "file10": illegal operation on a directory
    while executing
"read $in"
    (procedure "Folder_FindShared" line 7)
    invoked from within
"Folder_FindShared"
    (procedure "Flist_FindAllFolders" line 19)
    invoked from within
"Flist_FindAllFolders"
    (procedure "Flist_Init" line 8)
    invoked from within
"Flist_Init"
    ("eval" body line 1)
    invoked from within
"eval $line"
    (procedure "Exmh" line 93)
    invoked from within
"Exmh"
    ("after" script)

Any suggestions welcome and thanks in advance.
