Hi, Did your server come with instructions explaining how to configure common mail programs? I'm sorry, but without more details about your new SMTP server, it's not possible to give a very precise answer. All I can say is: "Find the right places to enter a uid and password. Enter them into those places." Note that, when dealing with exmh, it is sometimes useful to drop back to command-line nmh first. If your new server supports SASL authentication, and if your local nmh install supports sasl, then the following mailing list post may show helpful hints (note the -user and -sasl and -saslmech flags): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01155.html Sincerely, Jacob Morzinski On 9/10/06, Peter <[email protected]> wrote: > > My new SMTP Server needs authorization for an uid and password. > > How can I implement this in order that I can send mail using exmh. > > _______________________________________________ Exmh-users mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/exmh-users
