HELP with From: address

I'm using version 2.6.3 on NetBSD.

The "From:" address comes out as:

  <username>@<hostname>.<domainname>

Since the <hostname> in most cases has port 25 blocked
I'd like to have the "From:" address come out as:

  <username>@<domainname>

How do I make exmh format the "From:" address the way I want?
