annotate

After being away from this machine with its install of exmh, I find 
that now this line in my .mh_profile:

repl: -annotate

isn't doing what -- iirc -- it used to do, namely, put a '+' in the ftoc 
for each message to which I reply.

Could exmh for some reason not be reading my .mh_profile?
