Actually, it's more complicated than that. :)

There *is* code in Ftoc_Rescanline to add the '-' on the fly, to avoid
invoking a 'scan' process just to add it (when it's called with 'dash' as
a parameter from editor.tcl).  Then whenever we do a larger rescan, we'll
pick up whatever the scan format file says.
