replying to text/plain base64

Hi,
exmh displays this type of content just fine.
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
But, when I reply to messages with that content type & encoding, then
the reply body is filled with base64 encoded stuff. How can I teach
exmh (or maybe I need to teach nmh?) to decode the body before
including it in the reply message?
My mhl.repl and replcomps are attached, if that is helpful.
