Has anyone looked at running exmh on an sshfs mounted file system? I just gave it a quick try: % sshfs -o idmap=user my-host: my-host % setenv HOME /home/oberman/my-host % exmh exmh starts up normally, with all of the folders shown and the cache populated with the unseen message counts. But the FTOC is left empty and never shows any data, including when I do a rescan or change folders. I do get a single error: exmh-bg: send error from command "Inc_PresortFinish", error "" Any hope to make this work? It would REALLY make remote use of exmh much better if it worked as the X interaction really kills performance when the latency is bigger than a few milliseconds. -- R.
