well, uh, <blush/>, yeah, I guess the [Link] button does likely do pretty much 
what I want, i just need to RTFM more I spose.

It does a filesystem-level hard link?  And thus all folder-specific search 
functionality works properly regardless of which folder a message is linked 
into?
