Hi John, To create an index for Glimpse to search, you should be selecting "Index". (Due to the way you wrote your note and the error you reported, I suspect you were selecting "Search".) As suggested further in the documentation, I maintain my Glimpse indexes with a nightly cron job. So I rarely rebuild a Glimpse index in Exmh but I did so for a folder a few minutes ago and it appear to be working correctly.
