OK, Whoops, I hadn't realised my main box was so old (FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE)

FreeBSD uname -r	Date			NMH		My Boxes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8.2-RELEASE		February 2011 (EOL'd)	nmh-1.2_3	main
8.3-RELEASE		April    2012		nmh-1.3		-
9.1-RELEASE		December 2012		nmh-1.3		laptop & server
Current			-			nmh-1.5		-

The current FreeBSD ports/ tree now has nmh-1.5, 
so I installed, & see /usr/local/share/doc/nmh/NEWS
refs /usr/local/share/doc/nmh/contrib/replyfilter
I'll try tomorrow :-)
