Todd, thanks for clarifying that. I overlooked that entirely. Ezmlm-make
with the correct flag seemed to do exactly what I wanted, once I looked
in the correct location for its effect. I think you're suggesting that I
could have also edited the correct .qmail file to achieve this end. I
wouldn't have thought of that on my own.

Thanks, again for the suggestion and a further insight into how ezmlm
works.
