Is 'ezmlm-make -3 fromarg' deprecated?

I'm trying to get the ezmlm-make -3 option to work without success. I
have an announcement-type list that should appear to come from one
person, when in reality, the message is posted by his administrative
assistant.

I tried all three of these combinations:
ezmlm-make -+ -3 "Dr. xxx, the Hib Initiative <[email protected]>"
~/focus-test/
ezmlm-make -+ -3'Dr. xxx, the Hib Initiative <[email protected]>'
~/focus-test/
ezmlm-make -+ -3 [email protected] ~/focus-test/

In all of these cases, the email I received came from the original
poster, and not from Dr. xxx. I've pasted in the output of ezmlm-check
after I made the last change at the end of this message, in case it
helps.

Is this option deprecated? If there another way to accomplish this goal?
