This error message is still part of the source files, defined in
errtxt.h.  There is no easier way to make this change other than to
change the message there and rebuild the programs.

You could add something to the "editor" file that looks for messages
containing "subscribe" in the subject and redirect them to
[email protected] or run the ezmlm-request command.  That command
can't be used unconditionally, as it will reject messages that don't
have a recognized command in them.
