I prefer this, because it provides the most logical transition to 64-bit 
architecture.

However, rather than surprise EZMLM-idx users, there should be a prominent 
notice in the UPGRADE.idx file, since new installs won't experience the 
problem.  I know I certainly was caught offguard on my upgrade.
