Re: Custom X-Header and AOL's New ARF Reports

I don't know whether I've seen the "new ARF reports".  That depends 
on how new you're talking about.  It has probably been a week or two 
since I saw a spam complaint report from AOL.  If you're talking 
about a format more recent than that, then I have no clue what I'm 
talking about.

The reports I have seen have the username part of the address 
replaced with "redacted" everywhere AOL can find it.

What I have noticed is that AOL misses the address in the VERP part 
of the SMTP return path header.  So when I get one of these messages, 
I can tell which subscriber caused it, in spite of AOL's attempts at 
redaction.

My lists also include an X-Unsubscribe header with the 
subscriber-specific address, e.g.
[email protected]

I don't remember whether AOL finds that and redacts it.  But they 
definitely miss the
Return-Path: <[email protected]>

At least they did a couple of weeks ago.
