Well, we need to establish what's causing it. POP3 does not require some
kind of expiration or expunging, it's just that if you delete messages
and then close the session properly, the messages are supposed to be
gone. I know some servers ignore such requests, for instance, Google.

There are options in fetchmail that can limit how many messages it
fetches (and hence, without keep, deletes) in one run, but the best
thing is to look at the logs... the usual recommendations are at
