That I cannot argue with. Optional is best, and the user should be able 
to make it so from the instructions in the man page. Complete enough 
he/she won't have to pester the list to do it. And it wouldn't hurt to 
arrange a cleartext version hidden someplace preferably NOT on the 
machines drives. Here, a post-it note on the wall would be fine if you 
could find one that would stick till the rapture. Seems like the glue is 
getting weaker over the last couple decades...
