That does have a certain attraction for the super picky I'm sure. And I'm 
with many in that better docs are always welcomed, but that call is 
yours. I've been using it as a substitute for kmails mail fetcher for 
well over a decade.  As long as I tell it to do sensible things, its 
just worked except with my present ISP, who serves its pop3 customers 
email from the same server as their imap using clients. So they've 
disabled fetchmails ability to delete, meaning I have to log in with 
firefox and delete old mail at approximately daily intervals.  No biggie 
IMO.

My thanks to you, and to any other maintainers its had over a rather 
lengthy piece of the internets history.
