I'm getting the same error. This is what I understood you to mean:

poll imap.gmail.com protocol imap
   auth oauthbearer username "[email protected]"
   passwordfile "/opt/fetchmail7/cron.oauth2"
   is cufsalumni-leave here sslmode wrapped sslcertck tlsl
