I know that modifying (or touching) ~/.fetchmailrc forces fetchmail (daemon mode) to restart and reload it. This is useful and intuitive, so I had assumed that the same happens when ~/.netrc is changed. However, I have a ~/.netrc whic is a symbolic link to ~/.authinfo, and apparently modifying ~/.authinfo does not force fetchmail to reread it. I have to kill the fetchmail daemon and restart it to read the new data. Is this normal? Intended? Am I missing anything? Should I file a feature request? -- Francesco Potortì (ricercatore) Mobile: +39.348.8283.107 ISTI - Area della ricerca CNR Skype: wnlabisti via G.
