getmail version 4.40.1 has been released and is available for download
at the usual place:
http://pyropus.ca/software/getmail/

Changes since the previous version include:

22 April 2013
    -again change protocol codes passed to OSX, as they're not only reserved
    codes, but also case-sensitive.  Use the ones an OSX user reports work
    properly.  Thanks: Tim Gray.
