getmail version 4.45.0 has been released and is available for download
at the usual place:

Changes since the previous version include:

    -perform hostname-vs-certificate matching of SSL certificate if validating
    the certifcate.  Thanks: "mancha".
    -fix missing plaintext versions of documentation.
