getmail version 4.49.0 has been released and is available for download
at the usual place:
http://pyropus.ca/software/getmail/

Changes since the previous version include:

    -make IMAP class only issue EXPUNGE command on mailbox close if we have
    actually deleted any messages from the open mailbox.  Makes use of read-only
    IMAP folders possible.  Thanks: Zoltan Padrah.
