I can't remember how I ascertained this correct folder as it's been a
while, but this is an extract from my rc file:

[retriever]
type = SimpleIMAPSSLRetriever
server = imap.gmail.com
port = 993
username = redacted
password = redacted
mailboxes = ("[Gmail]/All Mail","INBOX")
