Running getmail with python3

Greetings,

I just want to ask if someone has experience with running getmail with
python3?

The reason is, that fedora tries to move from python2 to python3 and I'm
thinking about converting the fedora package to python3.

I've run 2to3 on getmail-5.6 and as far as I can tell only minor changes
will be needed. These changes should be compatible with python2.7 as well.
