Hello,
I'm sorry for being so forgetful and then sending two mails on a row.
I should have already said that with pop3 the issue presents itself
as well.
Other than that, it appears that I can only connect to fsf.org using
the -tls1 flag to openssl s_client.
Some other results I should have attached in the first place:
