Only download emails older than x days

      I have a ton of emails in my gmail account and would like to
only download (and delete from gmail after that) only those emails
that are older than X days.

How to do that? I looked into
http://pyropus.ca/software/getmail/documentation.html#mailing-list-users-archive
and the mail archive and so far have not found an answer.
