Is it possible to integrate getmail with an Office 365 mail server using third-party 2FA authentication

Hi, My employer recently switched to using third-party two-factor authentication (using okta) to get mail from an Office 365 mail serer. We have been able to write a python script using MS Graph or REST API to get the e-mail from there (which involves authentication using OKTA's one time password (OTP) on google-authenticator). I wonder if it is possible to use this in conjunction with getmail so that we can read them using our own MTA. I don't want to duplicate the effort (and getmail is definitely a more comprehensive script than anything I can ever write) so that is why I thought that I would find out first in the mailing list if this is possible. I am happy to explain in more detail (and I understand that my question may not be clear at all). Thanks a lot for any suggestions, pointers or use cases. Best wishes.
