countermail encrypts all mails that came in unencrypted. This happens
not immediatelly, but up to one hour after the mail was received.
When getmail fetches the mail before encryption ran it will see it as a
new mail after encyption. Thus, it duplicates these mails in its
destination mailbox.
This problem is known, ie. with Thunderbird and can be mitigated by
disabling its caching (as I understand it)

Can getmail do that more gracefully? Ideally it should not download the
encrypted version if the unencrypted one was already fetched.
They differ only in the body, as far as I see.
