Hi there,
after updating my machine to debian buster, I realized that I have an
weakdh issue with getmail.
I couldn't find anything specific on the lists, or the web.
I did update my openssl dhparams.pem; however when fetching mail I still
get an error:
$ /usr/bin/getmail --rcfile ~/.getmail/getmailrc-xxx
getmail version 5.13
Copyright (C) 1998-2019 Charles Cazabon. Licensed under the GNU GPL
version 2.
SimplePOP3SSLRetriever:[email protected]@xxx.xxx.xxs:995:
getmailrc-xxx: socket error ([SSL: DH_KEY_TOO_SMALL] dh key too
small (_ssl.c:727))
0 messages (0 bytes) retrieved, 0 skipped
I'm not sure, whether this is a client issue at my side (openssl &
getmail) or a server issue at my provider, that now after updating my
openssl this gets more picky.
Any input regarding this is highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance
Stefan.
