What does that > mean? They mean as far as the IMAP client is concerned, the message has been deleted & expunged. Gmail has a "feature" where a single message can appear in multiple IMAP folders, so they say it has to be deleted & expunged from *all* folders before they move it to Trash. So you'll need to ensure there aren't copies of messages going into other folders if you want Gmail to treat "delete & expunge" as "move to trash". > And is it possible to achieve this with getmail?
