For the love of what’s Holy, if I reimplement `ls` in nodejs, even with
the same interface, that is not `ls`. If I introduce bugs or different
behaviours in such reimplementation, definitely that is not `ls`.

I see Charles took it with Debian maintainers [1]. I disagree with his
«just use Python 2» stance; at the same time not changing the name
even when he explicitly asks so (with a manifest reason: getmail6
introduced unexpected behaviours) comes off as boorish, doubly so if
followed by a patronising message
