OT: Roland Puntaier / "getmail6" drama

Hi, all,

Sorry to bother you with this, but I have a (presumably final) update.  Roland
has continued to tell me he will send me "a patch" to integrate his changes
from "getmail6" into getmail, continuing to ignore the detailed information I
gave on how to send his changes as a series of patches.

More aggravatingly, he has accused me in private email of "drug-induced mental
illness", which I find particularly offensive.

He also claims I am using "aggressive language" when I point out how irritated
I am that he has taken the name of my 23-year-old software project and started
dragging it through the mud without my permission.  I personally feel I have
earned the right to defend the good name of my project.

Somehow I doubt he will be able to fruitfully collaborate with me, or perhaps
with anyone.
