Indeed, that is the problem.  Anyone can download it from my site.  Nobody but
a knowledgable, current user of getmail would do so.

I perservered for about as long as I could.  I seemed to be about <> this
close to having them remove getmail6 from the archives before Roland stepped
back in and the packager changed his/her mind.

It was mentally exhausting dealing with this crap.  I don't have a whole lot
of enthusiasm to jump back in.
