Project still alive?

Hello!

I really like getmail!  I think it's well-written, and the documentation
is excellent!  I used to use it a long time ago, and then I didn't have
a need for it for a long time, and now I have a need for it once again.
However, now that I'm looking into using it again, I'm worried about the
health of the project.  Is getmail still alive and maintained?

I ask because at

the copyright is listed as 1998-2021.

And the last entry in the CHANGELOG

is version 5.16 from 2021-10-31.

And the last post on the mailing list
