getmail continues to work just fine; what measure of health do you mean?  If
you're referring to the fact that there isn't a ton of code churn every week,
that's because it's had more than 2 decades to shake the bugs out.

getmail is in maintenance mode.  The fact that it doesn't change rapidly is a
good sign, not a bad one.

The years given in a copyright notice are irrelevant; they have no affect.
They get updated occasionally.

The list archive you're looking at is incomplete.
