I'm not involved with the getmail project, just an user, but I want to
note that IMHO if it still has the name "getmail6", then it's still a
problem.
Some distros have even replaced getmail with getmail6 as if it were the
same package.
(I also wonder if this mailing list is working nowadays, last time I
tried to use it, posts didn't get through.)
