Well, maybe. Since the 'too busy' page is not reproducible, it would be
hard to test.

Thanks!

Subject: [gotmail] curl error when hotmail's too busy

I've got gotmail running in a cron job to download my email on a regular
basis.
I'm having a problem now and then, though. It appears that Hotmail's
throwing
up it's 'too busy' page and is confusing gotmail. I get the following error:

curl: (3) <url> malformed
curl: (3) <url> malformed
curl: (3) <url> malformed
curl: (3) <url> malformed
An error was encountered getting the page. Command was curl
"/toobusy.html/HoTMail" -b /tmp/fileM3xHZzgotmail_cookies -c
/tmp/fileM3xHZzgotmail_cookies -s -S -i -m 600 -D
/tmp/file4J9N4mgotmail_headers -A "Mozilla/4.73 [en] (Win98; I)" at
/usr/bin/gotmail line 551.

Is there a chance of recognizing this in the gotmail script and either
ignoring
it or giving a more meaningful message? Maybe even a new configuration
parameter to tell whether or not to report this as an error. If gotmail runs
into the 'too busy' page, I really don't care to hear about it, since the
email
will get picked up in 15 minutes when gotmail runs again. I don't want to
forward all cron errors to /dev/null because I would still like to know
about
any _real_ errors.

Thanks,
Gene
